Colorado Mesa University Career Services would like to invite you to participate in the 2020 Fall Job Fair. The in-person Fall Job Fair is designed to meet students' employment needs during the academic school year. Students will be seeking part-time employment as well as internship opportunities. This event also serves our December 2020 graduates who are beginning their search for full-time professional positions. Volunteer and scholarship opportunities may also be advertised at the event.
In-person Event Details:
This year’s Fall Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, September 2nd from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Outdoor Rugby Pitch on the Colorado Mesa University campus. Please see the campus map for location details. In order to guarantee your booth availability, all fees must be paid by the registration deadline of Friday, August 21st.
The booth registration fee is $100 and includes a six-foot table, one chair, and free parking in designated areas. This event will not be catered and you’ll be responsible for providing your own lunch. We will provide a small hospitality table with grab-and-go snack bags provided by Target in order to abide by the COIVD-19 regulations.
We are anticipating that booth space for the Job Fair will go fast, so please make your reservation promptly by registering virtually via Handshake. In the spirit of change and an increasingly virtual world, to register for this 2020 Fall Job Fair you must create an employer Handshake account and register and pay online.
COVID-19 Regulations:
Due to COVID-19 health and safety regulations, we are moving to the grass rugby pitch on Colorado Mesa University's campus in order to practice social distancing and keep students and employers safe. Employers interested in attending may bring their own tent and set-up on the lawn. If your company does not own a pop-up tent, we suggest you prepare for all types of weather. Additionally, we will only permit one recruiter per employer and the recruiter must wear a face mask when speaking and interacting with another person at your booth in order to keep yourself and others safe.
Whether your employment needs are immediate or in anticipation of future hires, the Fall Job Fair will provide your company exposure to new CMU students and students anticipating to graduate in December that can help your business grow.
